Liz Russell ’17: “Something I’ll Definitely Remember”

I ran the New York City Marathon during my first year, and it also happened to be over the November break when most students were in the Dominican Republic. And my entire cluster was there but during my race they tracked me and sent me messages along the way.
You're at mile 15. You got it, keep going. You're at mile 24, keep going. And they followed me the entire time and were cheering for me from a totally different part of the world. And it was just a really wonderful and positive experience that I had, and something that I'll definitely remember.
