Stacy Tarver ’16: Where Business and Art Intersect

In almost every lecture she attends at the Business School, student Stacy Tarver scribbles down a one-line idea that resonates with her, that she wants to remember and share. After class, Tarver, Brand Planning Director for Nike North America–East, turns that sentence into an eye-catching work of hand-drawn typography—coloring the letters, making them 3-D, or creating calligraphic flourishes, and often adding a cartoon or two. Then she photographs it to share on Instagram, where she has almost 60-thousand followers.
